Introduction

This document is intended as a guide on how to use the VIOOH Content platform. VIOOH Content allows you to upload and manage creative content for booked campaigns. You can also use this platform to create manual and dynamic campaigns.

 

+ Accessing VIOOH Content?

To access VIOOH Content, go to smartcontent.viooh.com on a desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile phone. All functionality will be available on computer and tablet devices. A reduced functionality version is available on mobile devices. VIOOH Content is functional on all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. We recommend using Chrome which is the most reliable option.

+ How to Log In?

When you access VIOOH Content you will see a login screen. Enter your email address and password into the fields and log in.

+ SMS 2-Factor Authentication

If you have not logged in for 24 hours, or if you are logging in from a new IP address, you will be sent a text message to the mobile phone you were registered with and will be asked to enter a 6-digit code for 2-Factor Authentication. If your mobile number changes, you will need to contact the Content support team to change it.

+ Forgotten Password

If you have forgotten your password, enter your email address and click the ‘Forgotten Password’ link and you will be sent a reset password link to your email address.

+ Logging Out

From wherever you are in VIOOH Content, you can logout by clicking the ‘Cog’ icon at the top right-hand corner of your screen and selecting ‘Logout’.

Dashoard
Navigation

+ Dashboard

The ‘Dashboard’ will show you the list of campaigns you have permission to access.

Click on a ‘Campaign Name’ to access it.

You can return to the dashboard from anywhere in the system by clicking on the VIOOH Content logo at the top left-hand corner of your screen.

+ Filter Menu

The ‘Filter Menu’ on the left of the page is ordered by :

  • campaigns both in date, or
  • campaigns going live in x number of weeks that are:
    • Awaiting Content,
    • Pending Moderations,
    • Awaiting Promotion,
    • Live,
    • Ready,
  • campaigns that have been created manually


Click on one of the options to select the campaigns you want to see. Note: Filter values are updated every five minutes.

+ Definitions

X campaigns in date now
The current day falls within the start and end date of these campaigns.

X awaiting content
Campaigns set up in VIOOH Content (either manually or from VIOOH Automation, Broadsign, Mosaic etc.) that have one or more frame specifications (frame specs) missing a default creative.

X pending moderations
These have creatives that have not been approved in VIOOH Content.

X awaiting promotion
These are campaigns that have been booked automatically via Broadsign or VIOOH Automation, have default creatives that have been moderated and which can be promoted to Broadsign for scheduling but have not yet been promoted.

X live
Campaigns that are promoted and currently in date.

X manual
Campaigns that have been created within VIOOH Content manually via the Create Campaign feature.

X campaigns going live in the next ‘x’ weeks
Campaigns scheduled in VIOOH Content to go live within the next ‘x’ number of weeks.

X ready
These are campaigns that are promoted but are currently not in date. Filter and Order Campaigns

You can filter the campaigns you see on the dashboard by using the ‘Filter Search’ field. With this function, you can filter campaigns by campaign name, client name or campaign manager email address based on the timeframe and country or countries selected.

+ Search for a Campaign

You can use the ‘Search Bar’ at the top of the screen to search for a specific campaign. Type in a campaign name, client name, or booking reference number next to the magnifying glass icon and a list of matching campaigns will appear on the right. Click on a campaign name to access it.

+ Recent Searches

You can see your last five accessed campaigns in the ‘My Most Recent’ list at the bottom left-hand corner of the dashboard.

Click on one of the campaign names to access it.

Types

+ Campaign: Types

There are different ways in which campaigns are either linked to or created within VIOOH Content:

Campaigns created in VIOOH Automation
Any campaign that has been created in VIOOH Automation will be accessible from the VIOOH Content dashboard providing VIOOH Automation is available in your business unit (BU).

Campaigns created in Other Booking Systems
If the booking has been created in another system other than VIOOH Automation and your business, has OpenLayer/DataRiver integration, the booking can be attached to a manual campaign in VIOOH Content.

Campaigns created Manually
A campaign can be created manually from within VIOOH Content. It would be created this way when there is no OpenLayer/DataRiver integration.

+ Creating Manual Campaigns

First, you will need to create a campaign in Broadsign. Then, log into VIOOH Content and you will be taken to the VIOOH Content Dashboard. Click on the cog icon at the top right-hand corner of the page and select ‘Create Campaign’ from the drop-down menu.

You will be taken to the ‘Create a new Campaign’ page where you can fill in the details of your campaign.

The mandatory fields you will need to fill out are:

Brand - The name of the brand
Campaign Name - The name of the campaign
Business Units - The country where the frames, in the media buy, are in
Starts At – The start date of the campaign
Ends At – The end date of the campaign
Update Frequency (mins) – The frequency at which changes in the campaign (e.g. to the state of dynamic rules) are synchronised to screens. Suggested settings are 15 minutes for campaigns without dynamic rules (e.g. with date and location scheduling only) and 2 minutes for campaigns that have dynamic rules that may change state regularly (e.g. with rules controlled by the weather conditions at the screen).

Click the ‘Create Campaign’ button to save.

Next, add your frames to ‘Media Buy’ (these need to match the frames in the Broadsign campaign). Refer to the ‘Campaigns: Media Buy’ section to see how to add frames.

Upload your creatives and set your defaults and rules accordingly, as described in the ‘Campaigns: Creatives’ section of this document.

Finally, you will need to create a ‘Build’ for your booking. Refer to the ‘Builds’ section to see how to create a build. Then download your build and schedule it to the Broadsign campaign.

+ Linking Campaigns from Other Booking Systems with OpenLayer/DataRiver

For bookings created in a booking system other than VIOOH Automation (such as Broadsign or Mosaic), link the booking in VIOOH Content by using the manual creation method.

Go into the Create Campaign section and enter the booking system campaign ID (e.g. Broadsign campaign ID) in the ‘Search bookings saved in VIOOH Content’ field.

The other fields will auto-populate once the booking is added (except for the Update Frequency field which you will need to populate).

For campaigns that have already been created, booking system campaign ids can still be added from within the ‘Bookings’ page.

Multiple campaign ids can be attached to a single VIOOH Content campaign.

Save the campaign and you will be able to add creatives and promote it in the same way you would a VIOOH Automation campaign. Refer to the ‘Campaigns: Bookings’ section to see how to promote your campaign.


Settings

+ Campaigns: Settings

When you select a campaign, you will be taken to the ‘Creative’ page by default. The ‘Menu Bar’ on the left will show some information about your campaign such as the name and ID number and a list of other options.

For manual campaigns created in VIOOH Content, you can update the campaign settings by clicking on the cog icon next to the campaign name. For campaigns created in VIOOH Automation, these should be amended directly in VIOOH Automation only.

Creatives

+ Campaigns: Creatives

Within the Creative page there are a number of subsections including: All Creatives, Moderation Summary, Enhanced Moderation, Schedule, Playlists, and Failed History. You will land in the ‘All Creatives’ section by default.

+ Frame Specifications

In the All Creatives section, you can see all the frame specs that are booked for your campaign.

VIOOH Content groups frames together based on shared frame specs in the campaign media buy. You only need to upload content into each group of frame specs rather than each individual frame.

Refer to the ‘Campaigns: Rules’ section to assign your creatives to specific frames.

+ Creatives Uploaded

Within each frame specification section, you will see currently uploaded creatives. If the creative is an image or video, you will see a thumbnail preview of it.

If the uploaded creative is a HTML build, there will not be a thumbnail. You can only preview it by clicking the ‘Eye’ icon.

+ Adding New Creatives

To add a new creative to a campaign you can either click on the ‘Drop your file(s) here or select’ button in the frame specification bar, or simply drag and drop a file onto it.

You can upload images, videos, or HTML creatives (HTML creatives must be a .zip file) and you can add more than one file at a time. HTML creatives are also known as Creative Development Kit (CDK) creatives.

VIOOH Content takes care of any image rotation that may be required, so you don’t need to pre-rotate your image or video. The creative will be checked and resized to fit the frame spec you upload to and will add black borders if the aspect ratio does not match.

For example, if you upload a landscape image to a portrait frame the image will be scaled to fit the width of the frame, centred vertically, and you will see black borders around it.

Creative
Moderations

+ Campaigns: Creative Moderations

Approving a Creative

When a new creative is uploaded to a campaign it must be checked and approved by a user with moderation permissions.

If you have the “Creative Moderate” permission for your campaign, access the approval interface by clicking on the eye icon to the right of the creative and you will be taken to the ‘Creative Preview’ page.

The Creative Preview page will give you the option to approve or reject the creative.

Click on the green ‘Approve’ button under Moderation in the Settings panel to approve.

+ Setting a Creative as Default

Every frame spec must have at least one ‘Default’ creative. This is the creative that will play if no rules attached to creatives for that frame spec are true. If a creative has not been set as default and has no rules attached to it, it will not play.

In the rare case of a loss of network connection, the player will revert to playing the default creative.

From the Creative Preview page, set a creative as default by clicking once on the toggle under Default Status in the Settings panel to change it from ‘Inactive’ to ‘Active’.

You can also select multiple creatives and apply rules or set them to default at the same time using the multiple select feature. Click in the boxes next to all the creatives you want to set to default in the All Creative page.

You can also select all the creatives by clicking on the box at the top.

Then click on the ‘Select an Action’ drop down menu and choose an option.

In the All Creatives section, default creatives will be marked with a star.

+ Rejecting a Creative

If the creative is not acceptable, you can reject it by clicking the red ‘Reject’ button in the Preview section.

+ Replacing a Creative

Back in the All Creatives section, you can replace an existing creative with another creative by either dragging and dropping the new file directly on top of the one you want to replace or clicking on the double arrow button in the frame spec bar.

You will get a pop-up message asking you if you are sure you want to overwrite the original file.

Click ‘Confirm’ to replace.

+ Deleting a Creative

To delete a creative, click on the ‘Rubbish Bin’ icon in the frame spec bar of the creative.

You will get a pop-up message asking you if you are sure you want to delete the file.

Click ‘Yes’ to delete the file.

+ Download the Creative

You can also download the creative by clicking on the ‘Download’ arrow icon in the frame spec bar of the creative.

+ Moderation Summary

The ‘Moderation Summary’ section in the Creative page displays a list of creatives that have been approved or rejected for the campaign. Each creative will be listed by its name and the frame spec.

To see who has approved a creative, click the coloured status bar of the creative moderation. A drop-down box will appear with the name and email address of the approver.

+ Enhanced Moderation

The ‘Enhanced Moderation’ section allows permitted users to build a moderation workflow for approvers that do not have Content accounts on a campaign by campaign basis.

There are a couple of different options to create moderation workflows:

Copy Stages from Another Campaign

This field allows you to create stages by copying them over from another campaign you may have created previously. Click on the down arrow to select the campaign you want to copy from.

Add a New Stage

Click on the ‘Add New Stage’ button to create a stage from scratch.

Click on the group name to change it.

Enter the email address for an approver you want to add to the group (you can add multiple email addresses to a group).

Select a rule for the group from the drop-down list to specify if all users or a specific number of users out of the group should moderate before moving onto the next stage.

You can also create another user group for Stage 1 as a backup in case users in the first group are not available to moderate. Click on ‘Add new Group’ to create.

To add a second moderation stage, click on the ‘Add New Stage’ button and repeat the process for Stage 1.

Click the ‘Save Changes’ button when complete.

The stages will run consecutively. Once the moderation process for Stage 1 is complete, Stage 2 will automatically begin. Users in the workflows will be notified when the first creative is available to moderate for their stage.

+ Schedule

The ‘Schedule’ section shows you rules that will apply to a creative on each day. Click on a rule to see which creative will play when the rule is active.

+ Playlists

In the ‘Playlists’ section, the playout order and percentages of any number of creatives can be adjusted and set both for default creatives and for those with rules assigned. Playlists can only be edited for creatives with the same rule or those set as defaults. NOTE: This does not affect the SOT set in VIOOH Automation or Broadsign.

Below are the various functionalities the Playlist feature enables:

Changing Playout Order

When you select a frame spec, you will see the default playout order that has been set for the creatives. In the example below, you have ‘Forest’ first, ‘Sunset’ second and so on.

To change the playout order, drag and drop the creatives in the order you want them to play out. In the following example, the ‘Beach’ creative has been dragged and dropped to the top to be played first.

Click on the ‘Save new order’ button to save the changes.

Shuffling Playout Order

To make the playout order of your creatives random, use the ‘Shuffle’ toggle to the right of the ‘Playout Slider’. Click once on the toggle to change it to ‘Shuffle’.

Setting Percentages on Playouts

To change the playout percentages of individual creatives, you can either type percentage values directly into the text field next to the ‘Lock’ icon or slide the dots on the playout slider to the left or right.

When you save your changes, the playout order will update allowing you to see what creative will be playing when.

In the example below, the ‘Beach’ creative has been set to play 40% of the time. As a result, the playout order has adjusted to show this creative will play three times within a cycle.

+ Failed History

The ‘Failed History’ section displays a record of any creatives which have failed to process when being uploaded to a campaign (limited to the last 50 per campaign).

Bookings

+ Campaigns: Bookings

The ‘Bookings’ tab allows you to manage and ‘Promote’ existing bookings for your campaign to ;OLH .

Promoting is done per booking. You will need to ensure that all creatives have been moderated and at least one default creative has been set for a frame spec in order to promote the booking.

In the top section of the Bookings page, you will see a status snapshot of your bookings.

Unpromoted - Number of bookings that still need to be promoted
In progress - Number of bookings that have been promoted and are waiting for confirmation of success from DataRiver
Promoted - Number of bookings that have been promoted successfully
Need attention - Number of bookings that have errors and need attention


Click on the blue ‘Promote ready’ button to promote all bookings that are ready in one go.

Scroll down the page to see status details for each frame spec.

You will see a warning message if your booking needs attention and cannot be promoted.

You will see a green tick for a booking that has been successfully promoted.

If you see the blue ‘Promote’ button, the booking is ready to be promoted.

If you click on the ‘Promote’ button to promote the booking, the button with change to ‘Confirm promotion’.

Click to confirm the promotion and the status will change to ‘Promotion in progress’.

You can see whether a campaign is fully promoted, partially promoted, or inactive in the campaign details area above the menu options.

Rules

+ Campaigns: Rules

Rules can be set up in a campaign to define which creatives will be played based on an event. For example, you can set a rule to change the creative from a sunny image to a rainy image when it starts raining at the screen location.

You can see the list of rules set up within a campaign in the main ‘All Rulesets’ page. Rules can be simple (as above), or complex such as: Rainy and >= 16 degrees on a Sunday in West London.

If a creative has more than one rule applied to it, it will play on the screen if one or more of the rules applied to it are true.

If there is more than one condition within the same rule, both conditions need to be met in order for the rule to be true.

If a rule is true and more than one creative is assigned to it, all creatives will play in a cycle in the rotation according to the playlist.

+ Rules vs Defaults

If no rules are “true” then the default creative(s) will play.

When a rule is true, it will replace the default with the creative that is assigned to the rule.

+ Creating a New Rule

To add a rule, click on the blue ‘Create a new rule’ button.

A panel will appear with various options you can create a rule within. Enter a name for your rule at the top of the page.

Click on the + symbol to the right of a rule to expand the form fields area beneath it.

To select a rule, tick the box next to the rule name. This will also open up the form fields area beneath the rule for you to complete the relevant fields. You can select more than one rule at a time.

+ Adding a Weather Rule

Select one or more weather conditions that you want to use and change the ‘Select a day’ dropdown to select whether the rule is based on the current weather or forecasted weather.

You can also change the ‘Select a location’ dropdown to select whether the rule is based on weather at the frame location or at a specified location. A box will appear for you to enter the latitude and longitude of the desired location.

+ Adding a Temperature Rule

This rule enables you to play with temperatures in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. There are four different options you can set up:

Set a rule based on the temperature at the frame
This allows you to choose whether the creative will change if the current or forecasted min or max temperature at the frame is ‘greater than or equal to’ or ’less than or equal to’ a specific temperature. For example, if the max temperature currently at the frame is greater than or equal to 25 Celsius, the creative will change to the creative assigned to this rule.

Set a rule based on the temperature at a specified location
This allows you to choose whether the creative will change if the current or forecasted min or max temperature at a specified location is ‘greater than or equal to’ or ’less than or equal to’ a specific temperature. For example, if the max temperature currently at Buckingham Palace is greater than or equal to 25 Celsius, the creative will change to the creative assigned to this rule.

Set a rule based on the temperature at the frame compared with the temperature at a specified location
This allows you to choose whether the creative will change if the current or forecasted min or max temperature at the frame is ‘greater than or equal to’ or ’less than or equal to’ the temperature at a specified location. For example, if the forecasted min temperature in 2 days at the frame is less than or equal to the temperature at a specified location the creative will change to the creative assigned to this rule.

Set a rule based on the temperature at a specified location compared with the temperature at another specified location
this allows you to choose whether the creative will change if the current or forecasted min or max temperature at a specified location is ‘greater than or equal to’ or ’less than or equal to’ the temperature at another specified location. For example, if the forecasted min temperature in 2 days at Location A is less than or equal to the temperature at Location B the creative will change to the creative assigned to this rule.

+ Adding a UV Index Rule

This rule allows you to specify a UV index value.

Select whether the rule should use the current or forecast UV index and whether you want it to be greater, less than, or equal to a specified UV index value.

+ Adding a Date Range Rule

This rule allows you to set a creative to play within a specific date range.

Select the start date and end date for the rule. If you want multiple time ranges for example 1 January 2019 – 31 January 2019 and 5 February 2019 - 10 February 2019, click ‘Add date range’.

+ Adding a Rule by Day of Week

This rule allows you to set a creative to play on a specific day.

Select the day or days of the week you want your creative to display.

+ Adding a Rule by Time of Day

This rule allows you to set a creative to play at a specified time of day.

Select the start time and end time for the rule. If you want multiple time ranges, for example 10:00-11:00 and 22:00-23:00, click on ‘Add time range’. The creative will show each day at the specified time.

+ Adding a Location Rule

This allows you to set a specific location where the creative should be displayed based on the location of the frames in the Media Buy.

+ Adding a Rule by Frame

This allows you to set a rule to target creatives to specific frames.

Enter a comma separated list of External IDs, Display Unit IDs or Player IDs for the frames you want to apply to the rule. This rule can be made up of a combination of each.

+ Adding a Rule by Frame Group

To be able to use this rule, you will need to provide the VIOOH Content team with a list of frames you would like to create groups for. The team will set up the required frame groups which you will be able to select from when setting up this rule.

This rule allows you to use existing rules as triggers. For example, if you have created a rule to display ‘Creative A’ on screen X when a flight lands from China, you could use the Frame Group rule to display ‘Creative B’ on the group of screens that surround screen X at the same time.

Choose an existing rule to use as a trigger and select the frame group to apply this rule to.

+ Adding a Tag Rule

To be able to use this rule, you will need to provide the VIOOH Content team with a list of screens you want to tag and the parameters you want to tag them with. The team will set up the tags and assign them to the list of screens.

This rule enables you to create groups of screens, tag them, and target them. For example, if you are running a campaign across rail stations in London, you could create a tag group for the screens in each station (Liverpool Street, Euston, etc.) and target a station using this rule.

+ Adding a Flight Properties Rule

In order for this rule to work, you will need to provide the Content team with the correct Tag information for the frames at each airport. The Flight Properties rule will only appear when a frame (or frames) in the Media Buy of the campaign has been tagged with the airport tags.

This rule gives you the option to target specific airport frames based on certain criteria. For example, you could set the rule so that a creative will play when a flight is coming in from New York and the airline is Virgin Atlantic.

You can add multiple criteria in this rule.

+ Changing a Rule

In the main ‘All Rulesets’ page, you have the option to change a rule. Click on the 'pencil icon' beside the rule you want to change.

This will bring up the Rules options panel where you can edit your rule.

+ Deleting a Rule

To delete a rule, click on the rubbish bin icon next to the rule you want to delete in the main ‘All Rulesets’ page.

A pop-up message will appear asking you if you are sure you want to delete the rule.

Click ‘Yes’ to confirm.


 

Content

+ Campaigns: Content

Content Items and Content Types are used for HTML creatives.

When you click on the Contents option in the menu bar, you’ll go to the ‘All Content’ page where you can upload Content Items.

You will need to make sure you have relevant Content Types created beforehand.

+ Content Types

Content Types are templates that categorise Content Items. They define a structure for storing Content Items that can be edited in a campaign and are used to change the appearance or the behaviour of an HTML creative.

When creating a Content Type, you can define several different Field Types (these will form your templates).

Simple Text (used for titles, etc.)
Long Text (usually used for body copy)
Video / Image
Date
Single Select (used to create a drop-down menu with limited options - e.g. to choose between a black or white logo)


Content Types are linked to specific HTML creatives. The creative will have access to Content Items of the specific Content Types and all their fields, so Content Type names and values should not be changed without approval from the HTML creative developer.

+ Content Items

Content Items are editable parts of a creative. They can be text, images or videos. You can add new content items and edit existing ones. Any changes you make to approved content items will be sent out to the screens.

Content Item moderation generally applies to campaigns that are ‘manual content’ campaigns. A manual content campaign is a campaign that is made up of an editable template.

To add new Content Items to a Content Type, simply click the blue ‘Create New Manual Content’ button to the right of the page.

A panel will appear with a drop-down menu for you to select the Content Type you would like to add content to.

When you’ve selected the Content Type, your template will open up where you can add text and/or upload images.

Once you have named your manual content and entered the text and/or uploaded the images you’d like to display, click the ‘Save and Close’ button.

Moderation

+ Campaigns: Moderation

Any manual content that is added via the ‘Content’ tab will need to be moderated in the ‘Moderation’ tab.

When new content is added, it will appear in the ‘Pending’ section.

Click on the ‘Pending’ bar to approve or reject the content.

Tick the box next to the item you want to moderate.

Once you select an item or multiple items, buttons to approve or reject will appear below.

If you approve the content it will appear in the ‘Approved’ bar.

Rejected content will appear in the ‘Rejected’ bar.

Preview

+ Campaigns: Preview

The Preview section enables you to preview any type of content uploaded in your campaign including images, videos, and HTML creatives.

Media Buy

+ Campaigns: Media Buy

The Media Buy section allows you to see which frames have been added for VIOOH Content to run the campaign on.

There are some important things to consider for the Media Buy section.

  • The external ID is the unique ID for each screen as give to the VIOOH Content team by each BU. The ID is preceded by the two-letter country code. For example, for the United Kingdom the ID would be preceded by ‘gb’.
  • If a screen that you have scheduled the campaign to run on is not in this Media Buy list, you will need to contact the VIOOH Content support team via the live chat tool as soon as possible.
  • If the player ID is incorrect, the screen will be playing a default creative at best. You will need to contact the VIOOH Content support team via the live chat tool as soon as possible.

To see a web preview of the uploaded creative, taking into consideration any rules (i.e. if a rule is true, the web preview will show the creative that should play on the live frame), click on the ‘Eye’ icon.

The ‘Bug’ icon provides you with web debug information to highlight any potential issues with the frame/player. This feature is used by the support team to help with troubleshooting.

If your Business Unit has this feature enabled, you can click on the ‘Camera’ icon to see screenshots of all campaigns currently scheduled to the frame.

Reporting

+ Campaigns: Reporting

The reporting tab allows you to see the number of plays each creative has had and the total number of plays for the campaign. This interface is still being validated, so values are not currently guaranteed in any way.

You can also view detailed play statistics on a daily/hourly basis. Use the toggle to change from viewing play statistics on a frame or creative basis and statistics as percentages.

Use the Export CSV button to download a CSV report with a detailed breakdown of no. of plays.

Invites

+ Campaigns: Invites

From the ‘Invites’ tab, you can invite external people to upload content to a VIOOH Content campaign. You can also revoke access and resend invitations.

Enter the email address of the person you would like to invite to upload content and click the ‘Invite Users’ button (you can enter more than one email address separated by commas).

You will see the email address appear as a user in the main Invites section.

If the user doesn’t receive an email inviting them to login to VIOOH Content, click on the ‘envelope’ icon next to their name in the Invites section to resend the invite.

To revoke a user’s ability to upload content and access the VIOOH Content campaign, click on the ‘rubbish bin’ icon next to their name in the invites section.

Builds

+ Campaigns: Build

If you have created a manual campaign you will not see any bookings in the Bookings page for you to promote. You will need to use the ‘Builds’ tab to promote to Broadsign.

Listed here are all the HTML packages that have been generated for the campaign which are sent to Broadsign to play. You should generate a build once you have added creatives and set defaults for each frame spec.

You may choose to create another new build if you add a new frame type with creatives in the future.

+ Create New Build

Click on the ‘Create Build’ button to create a new build.

The button will turn orange and ask you if you are sure. Click to confirm and the download will start.

Once you create your new build, you will see it appear in the builds list.

Click on ‘Download’ in the Action column next to the build you want to download and it will appear in your downloads folder. To set the campaign live, schedule the download zip in Broadsign without unzipping. Make sure the VIOOH Content campaign is set to ‘active’ and the campaign dates match when you want it to show on frames.


 

Files

+ Campaigns: Files

You can use the ‘Files’ section to store any files related to the campaign such as creatives to archive if the creatives have changed, or notes about the campaign, etc.

+ Troubleshooting

Here are a few examples of potential issues you may encounter when using VIOOH Content with suggestions on how to troubleshoot them.


My campaign is only displaying the default creative

If only your default creative is showing, it’s likely that the screen that was scheduled in Broadsign is not in the Media Buy of the campaign in VIOOH Content, or that no rules assigned are currently true.

Another reason why only the default creative is showing could be because there is a network issue with the frame.

My content is showing as incorrectly sized:

It’s likely that the uploaded image or video does not match the frame specifications. Try resizing the image to match the frame specs and upload it again.

The campaign is not showing on the screen

VIOOH Content does not control the scheduling of campaign, so if a campaign is not showing on a screen, there may be an issue with Broadsign and/or the scheduling.
