🎉Dinner Party FAQ's

Q. Is attendance at the Dinner mandatory?

A. No, but please accept or decline by Friday 5th December 2025 as we need to confirm numbers to the venue.

Q. What date do I need to RSVP by?

A. Friday 5 December 2025 using this form.

Q. What is the dress code for the evening?

A. Feel free to dress to impress! There will be time after the main content finishes and ahead of the evening reception to change.

Q: Is there a cloakroom where I can store my bag?

A: Yes, there is a manned cloakroom on the ground floor at the venue. You will be directed there on arrival each morning. 

Q. How do we share any dietary requirements?

A. Please complete the dietary requirements tab in your Charlie HR profile, by adding a tile for "Dietary/Allergy" under the Personal details tab. Keep this tile up to date as this will mean we won't need to ask you each time!

Q. I don't want to be around alcohol, can I still attend?

A. Yes! We hope you still feel welcome to attend, there will be plenty of non-alcoholic drinks available during the reception, and we are planning to have alcohol-free tables at the dinner. Please indicate on the RSVP form if you want to be seated at an alcohol-free table.

Q. Are fixed term contractors invited to the Evening?

A. If you are a FTC on VIOOH's payroll with 3 or months remaining on your contract you should have received an invite. If you didn't receive please reach out to the #ask-lifeatviooh slack channel.

Q. Can contractors that are engaged via personal services contract attend the Evening?

A. Please discuss with your LT Lead to arrange a ticket for the event.


Expenses during VIOOH Week (UK VIOOHers)

HMRC deems travel between an employee’s home and their permanent workplace as “ordinary commuting” and as such, a personal expense / cost. Reimbursement of this type of expense / cost is not permitted and would have tax implications for VIOOH as the employer and VIOOHers as the employee. This also applies to international travel, which is approved to/from London only.

In line with our hybrid guidelines, VIOOH Week is a workplace activity and counts towards 20% of your onsite attendance per quarter. Lunch will be provided on site at the venue on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th January, and dinner will be provided on Thursday 29th January if you accept to attend the evening.

We appreciate that January is a difficult month from a financial perspective. If you would like to stay in London and/or you are struggling with the transport cost of attending the office/offsite venue, we can support you by loaning you the cost of your travel and any accommodation you may book.
